March Goodwill Haul

I have resolved to start shopping for Spring. I’m ready for short sleeves, flowy dresses and sandals. I think Goodwill has resolved the same (thank goodness…I don’t think I could buy one more sweater). Upon entering the store on this trip, I was greeted with bathing suits and shorts….PRAISE! Although I did buy some long sleeve tops, I feel that they could be used in transition for Spring.

I was instantly drawn to this top because of the mustard yellow color, which is one of my absolute favorites! It fits flowy, thanks to the peplum detail. The floral pattern screams SPRING!

Not only is this top mustard yellow, but it is also by Molly Green, which is one my favorite local brands. Although this looks like a basic tee, it is anything but. Thanks to the suede texture and the tulip split hem, this tee can amp up your jeans in a hot minute.

Who doesn’t love a little vintage Liz Claiborne? This top had been at the store the last TWO times that I had been in. Therefore, the thrift store angels believe that it should be mine!

High-waisted AND ripped? A major score with these jeans. They fit me perfectly, and the rips are in all the right places. If you are short and petite, I definitely recommend these American Eagle high-waisted, super skinnies.

A denim jumper is a great staple to any closet. What sets this one apart is the working button detail on each side, as well as the frayed bottom detail. Brand is Universal Threads from Target.

FREE PEOPLE?!?! These beauties almost did not make it home with me. There was another super cute lady carrying them around, while I was silently praying that she would lay them down. Chalk another one up to the thrift store angels!! These are a tad big for me, but I am going to try to make them work (who wouldn’t).

Chalk another win up for the shoe department. My local Goodwill recently moved the entire shoe section to the front of the store. I was a tad disappointed, because I felt that the shoes would be picked over (as they are now the first things that every customer sees). Since moving to the front, the shoe department game has been strong! I really love the powder blue color of these Teva’s. I’m excited about styling them for the summer.

Stripes + rust color (another one of my favorites) = MUST HAVE. Old Navy always knocks it out of the park with basics.

I styled my favorite pieces, the striped Old Navy top and the Universal Threads denim jumper. For the casual look: Top: Old Navy//Shoes: Nike//Jacket: Able Denim//Joggers: Aerie. For the dressed up look: Jumper: Universal Thread (Target)//Hat: Stetson//Shirt: Madewell//Booties: Mossimo.

Check out my video try-on on my IG. It’s under the “Thrifting” tab on my highlights. Happy thrifting everyone!
